The crudely cut hides look silly. You could've made them blend in better like you did with the one under the castle.

I like your little tunnels and such. the only thing I don't like is how some of the elements seem random. Like the width of the pod or the shape of the hide/obstacle... they're not identica...

There aren't any strict rules for mapping - the author(s)decide on everything. I just found it odd that you'd like icicles so much to incorporate them into the map but without their fundame...

Looks nice and refreshing now that I can see it in full size. I do think that some crates can unfairly screw some players' turns though. Was that on purpose?
